Guests stay in a homely cube close to the renowned Great Aletsch Glacier at more than 2,800 metres above sea level. From the Eggishorn, which can be easily reached by cable car, you can admire the Great Aletsch Glacier over its entire length – from the tip of the glacier all the way to Concordia Place. But the great Valais and Bernese Alps mountain ranges are also in view (Matterhorn and Jungfrau, Mönch and Eiger). At night (provided the weather is fine), guests will drift off to sleep under a clear starry night sky. Far from cities and other light sources, up here there is scarcely any light pollution to worry about. Making the experience even better, guests can relax as a couple in a hot tub as the sun goes down, while enjoying a drop of fine, locally made wine. Dinner: Picnic basket with regional dishes.
